This is a hybrid role consisting of both in-office and WFH.
The successful candidate will have up to 1 year of Retail Merchant experience.

Founded in Boston in 2004, the brand is widely recognized for its knitwear, distinctive patterns, and sophisticated fits. Our customizable, versatile pieces are purposefully designed to help women feel just as good on the inside as they look on the outside.
In this entry level role, the Merchandising Assistant will provide support to the merchandising team and will report to the Senior Manager of Merchandising. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide strong organizational support for the Merchandising Team.
· Deliver a high level of product analysis for various projects in the Merchandising Department.
· Organize and Manage samples for all Merchandising presentations.
· Manage all new order entry. Collaborate with cross functional departments to ensure orders are allocated and delivered to stores.
· Support Merchandising Team to create tools for key milestone meetings: Looksee, Pricing Meeting, Design Kickoff.
· Produce weekly reports to highlight business across all channels.
· Create visual guides for Buy Meetings.
· Conduct Price Analysis and gather market intelligence.
· Participate in Vendor communication and presentations.
·Act as a liaison to Creative and Marketing teams for outside vendor needs. Responsible for Copy and Image turnover to Creative for all outside vendor products
Skill Set Requirements
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel functions including number formulas, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
· Basic understanding of the statistical components of the business including Sell Through%, IMU%, MD%, GM% etc.
· Incredible sense of urgency.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
· Creative problem solving.
· Highly organized and passionately detail oriented.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education + Experience
· B.A. or B.S.in Fashion Merchandising
· Up to 1 year of prior work experience in retail merchandising
