Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Merchant located in Gurugram. The Assistant Merchant will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of product development and order management. Key tasks include coordinating with vendors and suppliers, assisting in sample development, ensuring timely deliveries, preparing documentation, and maintaining records. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align on design and production requirements while adhering to quality and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in coordination, vendor management, and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in communication, documentation, and record-keeping
- Knowledge of fashion industry standards and product development
- Understanding of sustainable fashion practices is an advantage
