Busy Rockville Centre Salon seeks Shampoo Assistant:
Leonardo’s Hair Design is a family owned business celebrating over 50 years of continuous success on Long Island. We are a busy upscale salon that enjoys a fine clientele. Our staff, as well as our clients, are friendly and understanding which creates a wonderful work environment.
We offer for the Assistant position a very competitive salary, personal hair services plus 20% off on all retail products. The opportunity to attend in-salon seminars available.
Responsibilities:
– Assist stylists in shampooing clients’ hair before and after treatments
– Assist with hair coloring processes and all chemical services
– Support creative hairstylists in various tasks related to salon services
– Assist with salon up-keep duties as directed by the salon manager
– Engage in retail sales of salon products and promote upselling opportunities
– Previous experience in a salon setting preferred
