Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Store Manager based in the Western Province, Sri Lanka. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and implementing effective retail strategies. Key responsibilities include enhancing customer service delivery, supervising inventory, adhering to loss prevention measures, and contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the store. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to support the store’s objectives and maintain a high standard of customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficient communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Experience in store management and operations to oversee daily activities, team performance, and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of retail loss prevention practices to ensure store security and minimize risks.
- Ability to motivate and supervise staff, with excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial reporting is a plus.
