This position is limited to part-time and 30 hours a week
Your Responsibilities
Active sale of our works of art
First-class and dedicated advice for our customers
Building a close and continuous relationship with our loyal regular customers
Creating a unique visiting and buying experience with the little stories behind the artwork
Dealing with our customers’ concerns after the purchase
Assisting with hanging, managing deliveries and stock management
We live multi-channel: you also provide our customers with the best service online with chat and video advice
Collaboration in the organization of our various events such as vernissages and artist talks
Sharing responsibility for ensuring the processes for unpacking, checking and packing exhibits
Supporting the Gallery Manager in the preparation and reporting of gallery sales statistics
Onboarding of new employees
Support with staff scheduling and time recording in close cooperation with the Gallery Manager
Your profile
You have already gained several years of experience in retail, you are passionate about advising and selling and therefore have a high presence in the gallery space
You have training in retail or a qualification in photography, art or design
We do not require any previous knowledge of the art market, your personality counts!
You are outgoing and have a talent for communication
You like to approach people, listen and quickly recognize their preferences
You have a confident, style-conscious manner
You can also take on administrative tasks in a structured manner during quiet hours and maintain an overview
You see the after-sales support of our customers as a great opportunity for customer loyalty
You are business fluent English and Spanish
