Assistant Store Manager:

The assistant manager is a developmental management position intended to prepare an individual to assume the future responsibilities of the store manager – coordinating and directing the successful, efficient, and profitable operation of the store in order to achieve PAIGE business objectives. The position requires mastering all associate level and key holder level expectations of sales floor, clienteling, inventory, and visuals procedures and operations. This developmental role also requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, business acumen, and the ability to exercise creative and resourceful independent judgement and decision making to ensure the store operates in the best interest of the company while maximizing potential. The assistant manager reports directly to the Store & Local Brand Manager.

Assistant Manager duties include (but are not limited to):

Setting an example of enthusiasm, knowledge, and understanding of the PAIGE brand image and products.

Communicating company directives, policies, and guidelines in a clear, positive, and effective manner to ensure they are understood.

Ensuring that the store is maximizing sales and productivity while acting as manager on duty.

Ensuring all requirements necessary to open and close the store are performed accurately each day.

Being accountable for the store’s appearance, standards, and adherence to HQ visuals direction.

Reinforcing the expectation of superior customer service as the top priority for all employees.

Ensuring that all customer grievances are addressed promptly and in alignment with company policies.

Delegating responsibilities and holding employees accountable for meeting productivity expectations.

Training employees on proper merchandise presentation, standards, and visual responsibilities to ensure an impactful visual presentation to customers.

Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of the POS system, and having the ability to handle transactions in the event of an iPad, internet, and or debit/credit card reader malfunction.

Overseeing the timely execution of all inventory operations and initiatives.

Participating in scheduled inventory tasks, including store wide physical inventory counts.

Required Qualifications:

2 years of experience in a retail setting

Open availability

Able to work up to 40 hours per week

The ability to work during the Vacation Blackout Policy dates

Possess the ability to train and develop

Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills

The ability to engage and motivate teams, and to work collaboratively with colleagues

The ability to manage multiple operational business functions

Base Salary

$26/hr
