Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to offer clients contemporary styles.
Perform additional services such as nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed or requested by clients.
Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing professional recommendations based on color theory and style suitability.
Promote retail products to enhance client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Skills
Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong understanding of hair styling principles.
Experience in retail sales to effectively promote products and services offered in the salon.
Familiarity with MINDBODY software for appointment management is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading is a plus.
Strong communication skills to engage with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
A solid understanding of color theory to assist clients in achieving their desired looks.
