We are looking for anAssistant Stylistto assist in the delivery of world-class imagery for e-commerce that reflect the Bash brand’s identity, represent the relevant customer clusters and drive conversion. The Assistant Stylist is in the beginning phase of their career and offers operational and logistic support to ensure product is ready for shoots.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assist the Junior and Key Stylists on e-commerce shoots that follow the Studio Style Guidelines for Apparel, Stills, Jewellery, Beauty and Homeware.
Responsible for the preparation of product and sets prior to shooting.
Steam product and apparel meticulously with great attention to detail, ensuring that is in perfect condition for shoots.
Detag all product and garments by removing labels, stickers, and pins. Tags must be kept on the hanger of the garments to ensure they do not go missing.
Ensure studio, change rooms and styling wardrobe are tidy and organised. This is to ensure all processes and tasks within Studio can happen in a timeous and efficient manner.
Support the Junior and Key Stylists in daily tasks and achieving daily targets.
Responsible for the flow of product during a set ensuring the Junior and Key Stylists are equipped and ready to shoot as quickly and effectively as possible.
Continually and efficiently dressing the model in the correct outfit. This includes jewellery, accessories, and additional styling apparel.
Assisting the model in outfit changes to avoid makeup marks on product, as well as creases due to changes.
Supplying the photographer with the correct sku tag corresponding to the product on-set to ensure the numbering of imagery is accurate.
Responsible for ensuring the sku tag is returned to the correct garment hanger as soon as the model has changed.
Packing away all product, accessories and jewellery after shoots to ensure it is ready for styling.
WHO YOU ARE:
This job is for you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in fashion, or a related field is a plus.
Commercial awareness including good knowledge of designers, brands and trends.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Organised and methodical with an eye for detail.
Self-starter with a positive, proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to manage good interpersonal relationships.
Must be open and flexible to earlier or later working hours or working on the weekend only when shoots demand it.
