We are seeking a

Junior Technical Designer

to join our team and assist in the development and execution of our collections. This candidate will support both

Alexia Admor

and

Pop & Suki

, working across both brands under the supervision of a Senior Technical Designer to ensure high-quality technical execution and production.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated

Junior Technical Designer

to support our technical design team in executing accurate fit, construction, and production specifications. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for fashion production. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and updating technical packages (tech packs) with detailed measurements, construction details, and specifications.

Work closely with designers and production teams to ensure accurate fit and garment construction.

Conduct fittings, take notes, and assist in updating patterns and specs based on feedback.

Communicate with domestic and international vendors regarding fit corrections and production changes.

Assist in reviewing and measuring samples to ensure adherence to brand standards.

Maintain organized records of all technical documents, patterns, and fit comments.

Support in reviewing fabric and trim approvals to align with design intent and production feasibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and merchandising.

Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in garment construction and materials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in technical design, preferably in womenswear.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and pattern-making.

Experience with PLM/PDM software is a plus.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
