About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Technical Designer to support our Technical Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely across multiple categories to ensure each style is developed with the highest standards in fit, construction, and quality.
What You’ll Do:
• Collaborate on Men’s, Women’s, Kid’s, and Accessories styles to perfect fit, construction, and functionality.
• Prepare samples for fittings by measuring garments and recording details prior to fittings.
• Attend all fittings and capture accurate notes and fit corrections.
• Maintain and update the team WIP chart to ensure timely tracking and submission of samples.
• Review and evaluate TOP (Top of Production) samples for fit, construction, and overall quality compliance.
• Assist in setting up and updating tech packs, ensuring all critical construction and design details are included.
• Create clear and accurate How-To-Measure (HTM) guides using Adobe Illustrator.
What You’ll Need:
• 1–2 years of experience in the fashion industry, preferably in technical design or product development.
• Strong understanding of apparel construction, garment specs, and general patternmaking knowledge.
• High attention to detail with a proactive sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical sketching and documentation.
• Strong skills in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets) for managing and sharing files.
• Solid knowledge of fabric properties, trims, garment construction, and fitting processes.
• Ability to stay flexible and adapt to evolving priorities while working collaboratively in an open office environment.
