Duties:
Keep track and maintain control of daily requests and sample developments
Track the timelines of vendors by following up and logging the information into the WIP on excel
Flat sketch new designs (illustrator) as instructed from the design team
Measure sample to make fit call outs from fit sessions
Add call outs of fit comments to send to vendors
Request new fabric or trim sourcing request to overseas vendors & follow up statues
Create style numbers and update development data
Maintain/organize a system for storing samples by sorting samples onto the designated racks
Create Cad line sheet (illustrator) for production orders in work
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Must understand the basics of garment & sewing construction
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or related software
Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Must be able to effectively communicate with Supervisors and Vendors via written and verbal.
Education and Experience:
0-1 + years of related garment industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
