About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Venue Presentation Manager to support the delivery of venue presentation and cleaning operations across a high-profile event environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the venue consistently meet agreed presentation standards, with a strong focus on operational delivery, workforce management, and client satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Venue Presentation Manager to plan, coordinate and execute services across live events and day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities
Operational delivery
- Support the planning and execution of cleaning and presentation services across the venue
- Ensure all areas meet required standards before, during and after events
- Coordinate daily operations to meet changing event demands
- Complete pre- and post-event checks and reporting
Team leadership
- Lead, motivate and manage on-site teams
- Allocate labour and manage staffing levels in line with demand
- Deliver inductions, training and ongoing performance management
- Conduct briefings and toolbox talks
Health, safety & compliance
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture across all teams
- Maintain safe use and tracking of equipment and machinery
Client & stakeholder management
- Act as a key on-site contact for venue stakeholders
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Respond to service issues and ensure effective resolution
Financial & resource control
- Support labour forecasting and cost control
- Monitor staffing levels to optimise efficiency and avoid overspend
- Assist with reporting on budgets, costs and operational performance
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in team leadership within a high-volume operational environment
- Strong organisational and planning capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Experience in cleaning, facilities management, or event operations
- Exposure to large venues (stadiums, arenas, exhibitions)
- Financial awareness (labour forecasting, budget tracking)
