KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop understanding of business, brand attributes, and product development process.
• Gain knowledge on relevant fabric, trim, and artwork techniques.
• Shop market for inspiration and trends, as well as competitive market.
• Assemble seasonal color cards for department.
• Create artwork, patterns, and pitch sheets.
• Execute line sheets and tech packs.
• Attend fittings as needed.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support director and designer on occasional special projects.
• Assist in designing assortment with opportunity for future category and or brand responsibility.
SKILLS
• Possess creativity and eye for newness.
• Interest in graphic and textile design.
• Working knowledge of fit and garment construction.
• Clear and concise communication.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Adhere to calendar and deadlines.
• Eager to grow and contribute to the team’s success.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Men's preferred.
