OurDesignTeam is seeking anAssociateDesigner
YOUR CORE FOCUS AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Support the Design Director in assisting with concepts and developing prints, colors, trims, waistbands, and other items that are consistent with the brand’s aesthetics and satisfy business needs.
Assist in preparing trend presentations, mood boards and market research.
Setup design presentation boards and update boards as changes occur.
Research the market (luxury, contemporary and vintage), periodicals/magazines, and online resources (runway, ecommerce, resale) to stay current with trends.
Play a key role in executing the initial development for each season by creating original artwork and layouts under the guidance of the Design Director.
Color and print research/sourcing.
Print design and development (assisting with recoloring, indexing, selecting scale, submissions, etc.)
Work cross-functionally with Senior Designer, Data Team, Merchandising, Fabric Technologist, QC Manager, and Production Coordinator.
Create and Update Collection and Campaign Decks.
Create all color/print-filled CAD sketches.
Responsible for creating and maintaining Illustrator CAD bank (including technical drawings and colored images) for CAD sheets/merchandising.
Create and/or review/approve 3D renderings via Clo3D for all Limited Edition and Product releases.
Create and Update CAD Sheets, Ensuring 100% Accuracy.
Create and Update Merchandising/Line Plans.
