- Create sketches for development, both hand and draw in illustrator (most important)
- Proficient in illustrator flat sketches
- Strong photoshop/illustrator/InDesign
- Create CAD presentations for internal and external use with speed and accuracy
- Hands on knowledge of the textile market
- Knowledge of fabric and print
- Strong Print taste level.
- Ability to create print artwork, put in repeat, rescale and recolor
- Conceptualizing it from inception to finished product.
- Good understanding of the Fashion Trends
- Setting a color story, working with fabric, and coordinating pieces that sit together.
- Working with factories to source fabric, trims, and prints for line development.
- Corresponding with factories
- Working with technical design and production teams to ensure quality product
- Maintain daily organization and organize all material for design creation
- Created photo packs for buyers and production meetings
- Source fabric, prints and trims for line development
- Created CADs, technical sketches and photographed garments for collection/chase accounts
- Buy, return and prepare samples for buyers
Salary $70,000-$80,000
