Brand is focused on elevated classics : Woven, Knit , full categories.
The Role + Purpose:
Work closely with the Design Director to create concepts, and develop fabrics, prints, trim, and embroidery.
Assists in research of seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials, styling, and trims.
Design into the different categories: tops, bottoms, sweaters, dresses, jackets.
Ability to spec and create tech packs for vendors overseas.
Gather BOM’s + trim + sample info to pass on to production.
Keep track of samples.
Ensure projects adhere to the design calendar deadlines
Communicate with factories overseas
Experience
:
3-5 years experience as Assistant / Associate Designer
Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficient in using excel.
Excellent artistic and creative skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
High-end taste level.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
MUST HAVE Portfolio showcasing previous fashion design work
Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties
Knowledge of industry trends
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multitask
Strong written and communication skills
Philadelphia, PA (Required)
