Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Associate Designer specializing in Activewear to join our creative team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior designers to develop innovative apparel concepts, translate trends into compelling designs, and support the entire product development process. Your passion for fashion, combined with your technical skills and eye for detail, will help bring fresh ideas to life and contribute to the success of our dynamic collections. Responsibilities
- creating original design concepts for Active & Athleisure collections, incorporating current fashion trends and brand aesthetics
- Develop detailed sketches and technical illustrations using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software
- Support the product lifecycle management process by preparing tech packs, specifications, and production samples
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure designs align with market needs and seasonal themes
- Conduct fabric and material research, including color theory considerations, to inform design choices
- Assist in garment construction details, including sewing techniques and fit adjustments, to ensure quality standards are met
- Participate in trend forecasting sessions, mood board creation, and fashion styling to inspire new collections
Qualifications
– 1-2 years of experience
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
– Assist in researching the retail market seeking new trend ideas/ inspiration as needed
– Assist in the tracking and organizing approving lab-dips, strike offs, samples, and others.
– Assist in developing flat sketches for designing development packages.
– Create CADs in pattern/prints for the line
– Work/ communicate with overseas vendors to keep projects running smoothly and on time
– Proficiency in MS office, excel and adobe design programs
– Clear and proactive communication approach with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
– Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically
– Strong Project Management and timeline adherence skills
– Strong passion or enthusiasm for work

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
