The Associate Designer, MFO, will assist with bringing the brand’s vision to life through innovative, trend-right, and Brand-right designs that are cutting-edge and fresh. The Associate Designer will synergize with other designers, product managers, and developers. We are an authentic brand that pushes the envelope daily; innovation is a key part of our success. We are seeking an Associate Designer willing to learn and develop a strong point of view built on inspirations and ideas to create compelling and fresh products coveted by athletes everywhere. Your Impact
Support the Design Team on essential tasks to ensure we deliver design POV under aggressive timelines
Develop and execute clear and detailed technical kits for development
Manage merchandising page and own color management of the line
Build presentation files
Build and continually improve sports competency across all categories
Interact cross-functionally with PLM’s, tech design, merchandising, and other design teammates.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills for both interpersonal relationships and presentations
Fast, efficient, nimble, accountable; comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a great deal of constructive feedback and input
Ability to take direction and work with a team
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Passion every day to design compelling, cutting-edge product
Knowledge and understanding of garment construction
0-1 years of Design experience preferred (internships count)
BA or BFA in apparel, graphic, or industrial design is preferred but not required.
Workplace Location
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, Maryland office.
Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
Relocation
Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount
Base Compensation
$49,016.00 – $67,397.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
