Our client, a children’s apparel company, is hiring a Associate Designer, Newborn Boys to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).The ideal candidate should be proficient in industry-standard design software such as Illustrator and have experience working with PLM systems.
Job Duties Include:
Assist with entire design process including research, design, and sketching
Conduct seasonal and market research to identify new ideas and opportunities
Create and sketch design concepts and gather feedback
Assist with fittings as needed
Ensure timelines are met and communicate developments to team as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
3+ years of design experience
Experience with sets/mix and match
Background in boys’ apparel design is preferred
Excellent creative skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Salary: $80k annually
