About the role:
CHANEL is looking for a Disbursements Analyst to join our Disbursements Team in Piscataway, NJ. The Disbursements area is responsible for preparing, recording, verifying and paying vendor invoices for goods and services on a timely basis. You will play a leading role in reviewing & processing disbursement transactions, engaging with multiple internal teams, and external vendors. This role interfaces with ALL areas and key partners are Corporate Accounting, Procurement, & Treasury. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working in an Accounts Payable/T&E area.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Records and Reporting for all disbursements transactions
Interacting with vendors, banks, and internal partners to resolve payment issues
Monthly reconciliations as needed
Reconcile Corporate card transactions
Research & Resolve payment booking errors (e.g. SAP IDOCS)
Responsible to ensure external and internal controls and policies are adhered to.
Updating polices & procedures as needed.
Ad hoc duties as required.

Advanced Excel skills are needed for the role, and previous experience in a finance or accounting position with SAP is helpful.

What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
1+ years of Accounts Payable, P-card, and T&E experience preferred
Excellent computer skills & comfortable with different forms of technology
SAP, Concur, & Coupa a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,200 through$68,410. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
