Based in the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District, Ambiance Apparel is a leading manufacturer, importer and wholesaler of casual basic apparel for women & juniors. Founded in 1999, Ambiance Apparel has been catering to the fashion needs of retailers and wholesalers for over 25 years with quality products at affordable prices and high-volume availability of inventory.
Ambiance Apparel is seeking to hire an Associate Designer.
We are also open to considering candidates for a higher level Designer position based on their experience.
All Designer candidates will be required to provide a portfolio or examples of their work.
Requirements:
- Be able to follow specific orders and guideline assigned by the Head Designer.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in Korean and English (Read, write, and speaking).
- Must be proficient with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, as well as Microsoft office
- Candidate must have strong fashion and creative senses.
- Fashion Degree or related field preferred but not necessary.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing process preferred
- College degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Stand in as a fit model for meetings (optional but a major plus)
