Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Merchandiser – Converse Apparel to join our Merchandising team. This role will play a critical part in supporting seasonal merchandising, assortment planning, and cross-functional product execution while ensuring the successful development and commercialization of the Converse Apparel business. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for the apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the seasonal merchandising calendar and ensure key milestones and deadlines are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, historical trends, and market insights to inform future assortment strategies.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging apparel trends to identify opportunities that support the Converse brand vision.
  • Support with seasonal hindsight reporting to evaluate business performance and identify channel-specific opportunities across wholesale accounts.
  • Support with implementing seasonal pricing strategies to sit competitively in the market while maintaining internal margin and IMU goals.
  • Partner with the VP and Director of Merchandising to develop seasonal assortment plans for department stores, sporting goods retailers, specialty accounts, and other wholesale channels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Design, Product Development, Production, and Planning to execute seasonal assortments from concept through commercialization.
  • Create and maintain product line sheets and ensure accuracy of product information, visual line sheets, and merchandising tools.
  • Support in line reviews, customer presentations, sample tracking, showroom set-up and seasonal merchandising recaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Merchandising, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising, buying, planning, or product management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and retail metrics.
  • Knowledge of retail math and wholesale merchandising principles.
  • Experience with PLM, AS400, or similar merchandising systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is: $31.25/hour – $36.06/hour
