Job Title: Associate Product Developer Apparel Industry:

Blended Clothing is part of Chung Woo Corporation a
30-year-old fashion conglomerate that has a global footprint with over 400 employees in six countries. We are experts in Product Development for the elevated missy customer with a primary focus on cut and sew knits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assisting lead designer on developing product and R&D for each season
· Download tech packs from Flex PLM and initiate development in multiple colorways from the beginning to the finished line sample.
· Create and maintain spread sheets for tracking line samples, fit samples and photoshoot samples.
· Follow up with overseas fabric and trim vendors to ensure timely delivery of s/y and trims to the factory.
· Sourcing trim and fabric with overseas suppliers
· Analyze spec sheets and inspect quality for all samples received.
· Photograph, tag and send samples to the customer.
· Work with Designer to source new fabrics and trims and maintain WIP
· Create CADS illustrations in Adobe Illustrator for tech packs and design boards.
· Tag and organize fabric and trims.
· Create style folders – pass information to Pre- Production team when style is adopted.
· Create costing packs to hand off to factory.
· Cataloging, sending and tracking all retail samples sent to customer
Qualifications
· Must be well versed in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge of PLM a plus
· Must be able to multi- task, troubleshoot and problem solve.
· Candidates must be highly organized with a sense of urgency and be able to meet deadlines.
· Must be able to proactively work and think independently as well as part of a team.
Must have excellent written, verbal communication and follow up skills.
Education/Experience:
· 3 years’ experience in product development
· Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Fashion Design or Product Development
