With direction from Designer and Pattern Makers learn to create tech packs in PLM that include initial spec and grading with direction on construction and pattern block to be used for each style.
Prepare samples for fitting by measuring and reviewing overall appearance, construction and updating PLM.
Works closely with Design, Development and Production to understand priorities and responsibilities on day-to-day basis.
Master How to Measure and prepare fit samples for fit session, review with Pattern Makers the issues seen on flat garment.
Assist in live fit sessions with cross-functional team in attendance and taking clear notes.
Learn how to write comprehensive fit comments that are clear and precise.
Work with the Patter Makers post fitting to ensure accurate pattern and fit corrections are translated correctly to both local and overseas manufacturing locations. Must be able to illustrate corrections through digital photos and sketches.
Consistent maintenance of tracking reports.
Ensure final samples match exact tech pack specifications prior to handing off to Production.
Communicate and escalate potential problems and issues as appropriate.
Maintain relationships with both internal and external counterparts to facilitate smooth operations and efficient meetings/handovers.
Develop and cultivate strong inter-team and company-wide communication and collaboration.
