Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to clients’ preferences.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering professional advice.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
Assist in mentoring junior barbers and apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with retail sales of grooming products.
Stay updated on the latest trends in haircutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
Provide makeup application services as needed, demonstrating knowledge of color theory.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
Valid barbering license or certification in the state of practice.
Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.
Experience with eyelash extensions is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with salon software systems is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
