We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through expert hair care services. You will be responsible for providing exceptional styling, cutting, and coloring services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences and current trends.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to create customized hair color solutions that meet client needs.
Provide hair extension services, ensuring proper application and maintenance techniques.
Engage with clients to understand their desires and provide professional recommendations for styles and treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Promote retail products to clients based on their individual needs, contributing to sales goals with opportunity to earn additional commission through retail sales.
Participate in a tiered system that allows room for growth and advancement within the salon.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education.
Skills
Proficient in color theory with the ability to mix colors effectively for desired results.
Experience/certification with hair extensions application and maintenance.
Strong retail sales skills to effectively promote salon products.
Knowledge of barbering techniques for diverse clientele.
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive salon experience for all clients.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
