Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to individual client preferences.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, makeup application, and hair threading as needed or requested by clients.
Utilize salon software like Booksy for appointment scheduling and client management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Mentor junior staff members and assist in their professional development within the salon environment.
Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience in barbering with a valid cosmetology or barbering license.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
Skills in additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, hair extensions, makeup application, and hair threading are highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
