Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen eye for beauty trends. This role involves providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. The Hair Stylist will also engage in front desk duties and contribute to the overall success of the salon.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, braiding, chemical applications, wig installation and styling to meet client needs.
Apply makeup and offer nail care services as needed, enhancing the overall client experience.
Utilize VAGARO software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell products and services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointment bookings.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to continuously improve skills.
Experience
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio demonstrating various techniques.
Familiarity with barbering skills is a plus.
Experience in makeup application is desirable but not mandatory.
Knowledge of nail care practices is beneficial.
Previous experience in retail sales or upselling products is advantageous.
Proficiency in using M
VAGARO or similar salon management software is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
