Job Overview
We are looking for talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our vibrant and dynamic growing salon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services to our diverse clientele. This role requires proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, treatments and hair extensions. The Hair Stylist will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize straight razor techniques for haircuts as needed, ensuring safety and satisfaction for clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance their hair care routines.
Utilize salon software such as BOULEVARD for scheduling appointments and managing client records efficiently.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere that promotes teamwork and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license required.
Proficiency in various hair styling techniques including , coloring, hair treatments and hair extension.
Experience with salon software systems like BOULEVARD is a plus.
Strong understanding of retail math to assist with product sales effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.71 – $25.28 per hour
