We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair cutting and styling, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ appearance and confidence while creating a welcoming atmosphere in the salon.
Duties
Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to offer clients contemporary styles.
Utilize MINDBODY or similar salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Assist clients with hair extensions and other specialized services as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services, enhancing retail sales through upselling techniques.
Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and processing payments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and excellent customer experiences.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in using salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
Experience with hair extensions is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
Previous experience in store management or retail sales is advantageous.
Ability to upsell products and services based on client needs and preferences.
