Duties
– Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services according to client preferences and industry standards.
– Utilize hair threading techniques to enhance styling options for clients.
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
– Apply color theory knowledge to assist clients in selecting the right hair color and treatments.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
– Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance client experiences.
– Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in barbering techniques.
– Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and ensure product availability for clients.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a Barber with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating skills in hair styling, cutting, and shaving.
– Proficiency in various barbering techniques including hair threading and color application.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
– Strong understanding of retail sales principles and experience in upselling products or services.
– Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
– Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team is preferred but not mandatory.
– A valid barbering license as required by state regulations is essential.
