Description:
-Primary role is to assist clients in achieving their goals for hair design, color, style and to assist in preparation of developing Assistants and Hair Stylists.
Principle Duties:
-Prepare for and consult with client to determine client’s objectives and hair design needs, and make recommendations prior to starting work.
-Service all assigned clients professionally, and complete service within the established time frame.
-Educate the clients concerning products being used and proper tools to maintain their desired look, and complete with retail product recommendation and request for re-booking.
-Document the clients chemical formula as soon as service is completed and present worksheet to the receptionist for entry into computer database.
-Maintain cosmetology license, and participate in educational seminars outside the salon, in addition to in-salon training.
-Assist in training and developing Technical Assistants and new stylists.
-Represent the Salon at assigned shows/seminars and bring back key elements and ideas to the salon staff at future staff meetings.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
-Graduate of Cosmetology School, and licensed in Texas.
-Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with clients and with the salon staff, specifically in handling conflict or difficult situations.
-Self-starter with clear commitment to personal growth including participation in on-going education.
-Fully knowledgeable about all major retail product lines including competitive offerings.
