We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for hair styling, ensuring that every client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing various hair services in a welcoming and professional environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and provide expert advice on styles and treatments.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean salon environment.
Utilize straight razors for precision cuts when appropriate, ensuring client safety at all times.
Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Offer additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance the overall client experience.
Maintain accurate records using salon software to track client preferences and service history.
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Valid cosmetology license with expertise in hair styling techniques.
Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Proficiency in using straight razors for hair cutting when required.
Experience with front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client management.
Familiarity with eyelash extension application techniques is a plus.
Ability to use salon software for managing appointments and client records.
Skills in makeup application are desirable but not mandatory.
