Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services while creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Your expertise in various techniques, including hair threading and hair extensions, will enhance the overall experience for our customers.
Duties
Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and styling.
Utilize techniques such as hair threading and hair extensions to meet client preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.
Assist in retail sales by recommending products that suit client needs.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Manage appointments efficiently using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
Contribute to store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in barbering with a valid barber license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is preferred.
Skills in hair styling techniques, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and texturizing.
Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on trends and techniques.
