Duties
Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services, including traditional barbering techniques and modern styles.
Utilize straight razors for precise haircuts and shaves while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on styles and products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
Upsell products and services by demonstrating knowledge of color theory and retail math to enhance the client experience.
Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and follow-up communication.
Qualifications
Valid barbering or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proficient in barbering techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a clean working environment.
Experience in upselling products or services is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with nail care practices is a plus.
