Responsibilities
Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and styling tailored to client preferences.
Utilize techniques such as straight razor shaving and hair extensions to meet diverse client needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and offer professional advice on styles and products.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing salon software.
Educate clients on hair care products and retail sales opportunities to enhance their grooming experience.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair styling and color theory.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, hair styling, and makeup application techniques.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
Proficiency in various barbering techniques including hair styling, color theory, and makeup application is advantageous.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
A passion for mentoring others in the craft of barbering is highly valued.
