Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves not only cutting and styling hair but also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring they leave satisfied with their experience.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services to clients.
Consult with clients to determine their desired styles and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and hair care techniques.
Offer additional services such as nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior staff members in barbering techniques and customer service skills.
Manage inventory of products used in services and recommend retail products to clients.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Barber with a valid barbering license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of color theory and various hair care techniques.
Experience in store management or mentoring is a plus.
Ability to perform additional beauty services such as nail care or makeup application is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
