Nail Technician Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while also having the opportunity to engage in retail sales and upselling additional services.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance techniques.
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, or dermabrasion when appropriate.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and beauty treatments.
Assist with retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
Experience in barbering, hair threading, or related beauty services is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in the beauty industry.
Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment techniques is an advantage.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions and other beauty enhancements is desirable.
Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling preferred.

Pay: $250.00 – $260.00 per week
