A salon and retail center in business for over 32 years that just re-located to The Mall at Wellington Green. We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and cosmetology, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and deliver outstanding customer service will be key to building lasting relationships with our clientele.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize advanced techniques such as straight razor cuts to achieve desired looks.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost retail sales. We carry over 40 of the latest and greatest products from pro hair care brands.
Foster a positive salon environment by mentoring junior stylists and assisting in their development.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the salon.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles, techniques, and trends.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Previous experience in customer service is essential; retail sales experience is a plus.
A passion for hair styling, along with the ability to mentor others, will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
