Duties
Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims.
Utilize straight razors and clippers with precision to achieve desired styles.
Offer additional grooming services such as nail care, eyelash extensions, and makeup application as needed.
Maintain an organized station, assisting with client scheduling and inquiries.
Utilize salon software for appointment management and client records.
Manage retail sales by applying retail math to promote products effectively.
Ensure cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized consultations.
Requirements
Valid barbering license or certification in the state of practice.
Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology with a strong portfolio of work.
Knowledge of nail care techniques and eyelash extension application is a plus.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Attention to detail and a passion for staying current with industry trends and techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
