Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional beauty services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. As a Cosmetologist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair styling, coloring, cutting, waxing and more while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of beauty services including hair styling, coloring, cutting and more.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Utilize retail math skills to assist clients with product selections and recommendations.
Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional services and products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Document client preferences and service history using Square or similar software.
Mentor junior staff or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills.
Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in coloring, womens, mens and kids haircuts, hair styling, and more
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in retail sales is a plus; familiarity with retail math is beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Previous experience using Square or similar salon management software is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 – $40.00 per hour
