Art + Autonomy is a high-end, boutique hair salon located downtown In the heart of Soho. We are a community of highly trained and educated stylists that value self-expression, collaboration, and craftsmanship. We aim to provide superior service in a welcoming and positive environment. We are currently hiring a full-time apprentice/assistant looking to join a creative, hardworking team where your education and professional development are a priority.
Requirements we are looking for at this time:
– New York State Cosmetology License or temporary license.
– The ability to stand for long periods of time.
– Love of being a part of a small team.
– Self motivated.
– Passion for customer service and a positive attitude.
– Comfortable communicating one-on-one with both guests and co-workers.
– Passion to learn both cut and color.
– Flexible schedule – Weekend and Monday availability is required
– Willingness to help with reception duties.
