Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional grooming services and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for creating stylish haircuts, providing grooming advice, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Your expertise in various techniques and trends will help clients achieve their desired looks while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using various tools including straight razors.
Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive grooming.
Offer makeup application services to enhance client appearances for special occasions.
Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development.
Contribute to store management tasks as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber with proficiency in various cutting techniques including hair threading.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and listen to client needs.
Experience in mentoring or training others is a plus.
Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon or barbershop setting is advantageous.
