Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various hair cutting techniques and styling, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will also play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment within the salon.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using various techniques including straight razor methods.
Provide additional services such as nail care, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed.
Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Manage appointments and client records using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and cosmetology to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Foster strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Valid barbering license or cosmetology certification.
Proficiency in various cutting techniques and styles.
Experience with nail care, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading is preferred.
Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair treatments.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in store management is a plus but not required.
