Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber/Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of barbering techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Cosmetologist/Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
Duties
Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, and color services.
Provide waxing services as needed to enhance the overall grooming experience.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Upsell products and services to clients, utilizing retail math skills to assist in sales transactions.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Foster a positive environment by building rapport with clients and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and usage Of hair removal wax.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean workspace.
Experience in retail sales is preferred, along with knowledge of retail math.
A passion for the men‘s grooming industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Must possess relevant barbering/cosmetology licenses or certifications as required by local regulations.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
