We are seeking a skilled and passionate Master Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional barbering techniques as well as an understanding of modern styles and trends. Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using various techniques, including straight razor methods.
Provide additional grooming services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as needed.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and the overall salon environment.
Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles, color theory, and grooming products.
Assist in retail sales by promoting hair care products and services to clients.
Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices within the industry.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat visits.
Skills
Proficient in barbering techniques including hair cutting, shaving, and beard grooming.
Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail math for effective product sales.
Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in achieving desired hair colors.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for clients.
Experience in retail sales to effectively promote products that enhance client satisfaction.
Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the team.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all practices.
