The BarberHood is hiring for one full time barber. We are an extremely popular established barber shop that is consistently busy – no clientele needed you will build your own very quickly. We take great care of our team, and we are looking forward to a hard working barber join our family. This is a rare full time opportunity for one barber who is looking for a long term career in a very busy shop!
Generous 70/30 commission you will be taking home great money every day! Our barbers make a consistent reliable high income. The shop is open Monday-Saturday with Thursdays as your day off. We also provide a receptionist to book all your appointments and sweep up after your cuts for the first half of each day. We are all supportive and kind to each other, no bad attitudes just a positive working environment where you will be respected for your craft.
We need you to be licensed in the State of California, experienced in all styles and proficient in fades. We cut every 30 minutes, you can expect an average 15+ cuts a day. Clean fades in 30 minutes are a must so if you are not confident in this kindly do not apply. We require someone extremely reliable – because we usually sell out daily, being punctual is critical if you always run late please do not apply. A great work ethic is a must – we run a tight schedule and expect the highest level of professionalism.
We pride ourselves on a positive welcoming experience for our clients where we provide not only a great cut but a friendly atmosphere, therefore you must be able to provide conversation to your clients. We all greet every one coming through the door and try hard to make our shop a fun place to work and visit. We are looking for someone with a great attitude. This is a long term position for someone looking to have a dependable top dollar income and a shop to call home for many years to come.
