Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Perform makeup application and nail care services as needed.
Utilize hair threading techniques for precise eyebrow shaping and facial hair removal.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on styles and products.
Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
Mentor junior stylists or interns, sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills.
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in straight razor techniques for shaving and styling.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in retail sales is a plus, helping to drive product sales within the salon.
Ability to maintain a sanitized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
Previous experience in store management or leadership roles is desirable but not mandatory.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for the beauty industry are essential for success in this role.
