As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Your expertise in various hair treatments and retail sales will contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Duties
Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
Provide consultations on hairstyles and grooming options based on client needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
Utilize salon software for appointment management and client records.
Promote retail products through effective upselling techniques.
Educate clients on proper hair care and product usage.
Assist with inventory management and retail math to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, and makeup application.
Provide specialized services such as hair extensions when requested.
Skills
Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
Experience with salon software for managing appointments and client information.
Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
Knowledge of retail math for managing inventory and sales reports.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to perform makeup application as an additional service is a plus.
Strong organizational skills for managing front desk responsibilities.
Previous experience in store management is advantageous but not required.
