Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional braiding skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each client leaves with stunning hairstyles that reflect their unique personality. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality braiding services while creating an inviting atmosphere for clients.
Duties
Perform various types of hair braiding techniques, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a professional environment.
Utilize salon software, such as MANGOMINT, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement the braiding services.
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions or nail care when appropriate.
Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting clients and managing appointment schedules.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair braiding and color theory to provide clients with innovative styles.
Skills
Proficient in various hair braiding techniques with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Experience in retail sales and upselling products or services effectively.
Familiarity with salon management software, particularly MANGOMINT, is preferred.
Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting complementary shades for their hairstyles.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and ensure a positive salon experience.
Ability to manage front desk operations efficiently while multitasking in a busy environment.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
