Barber and Brew (barberandbrew dot com), a busy ladies and gents barber shop/salon and craft beer bar in Cold Spring, NY, is growing its team to meet demand. Charging top dollar in regional market. Partner and head barber/stylist has 30+ years experience in top NYC salons and barber shops, including Tommy Gun’s and Bumble & Bumble. Commutable from NYC or Poughkeepsie by train.
Seeking experienced barber, or experienced men’s hairdresser looking to expand into barbering. Successful candidates should be able to command $45 for men’s cuts, at minimum. Experience with women’s haircuts a plus. Days available for successful candidate (to start): Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Requirements: excellent people skills and have a professional behind-the-chair manner. Must be proficient at using mobile POS systems and handling money.
